Meet PASTL

PASTL is a community for Neurodivergent youth ages 10-17. Sports and other physical activities allow these children to gain new skills such as teamwork and communication. These are not the only skills these kids will learn. Mike Kavanaugh, the Executive Director of the program, explains that the program’s goals include confidence-building, creating meaningful connections, mental barrier-breaking, and developing emotional/social skills. 

Programs

There are a variety of options for the kids of PASTL. The group offers individual and group sessions. These sessions vary depending on the needs of the child(s). The PE and Recess program is designed to help kids be prepared for the physical and social aspects of these school activities. Sports/Need specific sessions to allow kids to become more comfortable with certain sensory experiences of a specific sport. Interest groups bring children with similar interests together. They also offer swim-specific sessions. Other sessions/programs are their PASTL summer camp and Collaborative programs with experts. They are also to host events such as the one they had recently. 

PASTL helped raise money for McCourt Foundation and Nuerological disorders.

Here at Mr. Stitch, we were thrilled to put this order together for PASTL. They came to us wanting to create caps with their logo and neon flare. Their logo matches the neon colors of the mesh so well! These caps are eye-catching. I myself love colors. These colorful caps will showcase PASTL with a unique piece of fashion.
