What do I need to get started?

If you have an image that you want embroidered, email it or bring it into the shop. We’ll let you know if it will work for embroidery. If not, we’ll suggest what to edit.

Why do you need to digitize my logo?

Accepted Answer

If your image is not converted into an embroidery format, it will not run on embroidery machines. Graphic files like AI, PDF or JPG are good for viewing, but embroidery machines need a digitized embroidery file. If you bring in a file not digitized by Mr Stitch, we can try it, but we cannot take responsibility for the embroidery quality.

Can I bring in my own garments or do I need to buy yours?

Either way. We have some of the newest styles made for embroidery embellishment, and you may also bring us your own garments.

Can Mr Stitch finish my embroidery job by tomorrow?

Accepted Answer

In many cases, Mr Stitch can turn around embroidery jobs very fast, especially for urgent requests when production time is available. Rush fees may apply.

How much do you charge? Is it by the letter?

Accepted Answer

Embroidery is custom work, so we need to see the project before quoting. Email us your project and we’ll return with a quote. If clarification is needed, we’re just a phone call away.

Can Mr Stitch embroider copyrighted or trademarked images?

Mr Stitch does not embroider copyrighted or trademarked materials unless you have permission to use them from the owner.

Can you embroider fine print?

Accepted Answer

Thread can only embroider so small, and some fabrics make small text harder to read. We suggest a minimum font size of .25 inch in height. Smaller text can be challenging.

Can I customize hats or caps at Mr Stitch in Los Angeles?

Yes. Mr Stitch customizes hats and caps with embroidery for names, logos, team designs, business branding and one-off personal projects.

How fast can Mr Stitch complete custom embroidery orders?

Mr Stitch can often complete custom embroidery orders quickly, including urgent jobs when production time is available. Turnaround depends on the garment, design complexity, digitizing needs and order size. Rush service may be available, and rush fees may apply.

How big can you embroider my image?

Accepted Answer

Our hoops max out at 17 inches, so we can embroider a bit smaller than that. This size works for large jacket back embroidery and framed artwork. We can go larger on non-contiguous patterns. Call or email us for more information.

Do you only take large embroidery orders?

Accepted Answer

No. We accept both large and small orders. Even if you need just a cap embroidered or a name on a shirt, we’d love to work with you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

After placing your order, any cancellation will incur a minimum 20% cancellation charge. Merchandise currently in production cannot be canceled.
