Embroidery Turnaround Times in LA: What’s Realistic and What’s Not

LA is a bustling city with numerous projects underway. It is also the home sweet home of various productions. This means there are often rush orders needed. Our turnaround time is dependent on our current schedule; however, we can accommodate rush orders.

Here and Now: No

In embroidery, there are many different types of shops. One of the common misconceptions is that we can do the embroidery for you here and now. This is most commonly seen in theme parks and hat shops. People are able to personalize their items with names or stock designs. We work differently as we have multiple customers at a time. A rush order can not be done here and now. Due to our schedule, we can promise it by the end of the day.

What are the different rush options?

The different rush options depend on what your needs are. As our turnaround times vary throughout the year, the cost of a rush will vary. If you are curious about cost, please reach out to us! We can do things as quickly as the same day if the item is brought in early enough.

I need something over the weekend!

Many people come to us looking for items done in time for the weekend or during the weekend. We are closed over the weekend, and can guarantee something by the end of the day Friday as an alternative. Fridays, we close at 4 PM. I recommend coming in Friday morning at the latest if something is needed for that same weekend.

Embroidery is not the only option.

There is one more option for a rush order. Heat transfers! We are able to rush our orders of vinyl or directly to film. These do have a strict time limit to get done the same day. The order would need to be placed and confirmed at 10 am at the latest for a direct to film. I would recommend direct to film for the next day or 2. With direct-to-film, certain deadlines must be met, so this is best to come in as early as possible. As mentioned, before 10 am. Vinyl is not so time-restricted, but depending on the quantity of items, order complexity, and when the items are brought, it will affect if it can be done same day.
