Charity as Sweet as Ice Cream: Paul’s Ice Cream Co.
Updated: 3 days ago
Some projects that come through our Sherman Oaks shop are about more than putting a logo on a shirt. Paul’s Ice Cream Company was one of those. We had the chance to work on custom apparel for the company around its launch, and the story behind the brand made the project even sweeter.
Paul’s Ice Cream Company was founded by Kimberly Archie in honor of her son, Paul Bright Jr. Giving back has been part of the company’s purpose from the beginning, so the launch combined ice cream, community and a cause that mattered to the team.

A Sweet Launch in Sherman Oaks
National ice cream day brought many people out for the sweet treat we know and love. It was also the launch of Paul's Ice Cream Company. They were rocking some custom T's by Mr. Stitch Embroidery during their viral event. They were able to place their company logo on the left chest

to showcase their ice cream style. Their stylistic logo stands out on each item they place it on.

We were also able to add the logo to the sleeve of Kim's launch day dress! It was a unique idea that made it stand out.
Their ice cream company was able to raise money for No Birthday Left Behind. They specialize in giving unhoused children a birthday party.
Paul's donates 10% of all everyday sales to charity.
We wish Paul's success forever!
The Paul’s Orders Didn’t Stop There

The launch was not the end of the project either. Paul’s came back to us for more branded pieces, including additional team shirts and dresses featuring the company logo.
I always enjoy seeing a brand take the same logo and find different ways to use it. A chest logo works well on a team shirt, while a sleeve or another smaller placement can give a dress or individual piece its own look without losing that connection to the brand.

It is always fun to see a local business find different ways to carry its identity through what the team wears. And there was one obvious bonus to working with an ice cream company—we got to try Paul’s coffee ice cream. The Mr. Stitch team definitely approved.

Projects like this are why we enjoy working with businesses around Sherman Oaks and Los Angeles. Sometimes we start with a simple logo placement and end up getting to know the people and story behind the brand, too.
If you have a business, event or team that needs custom embroidered apparel, bring your idea into our Sherman Oaks shop or send us your logo and project details.
