Fallen for The Fall Guy: Another Custom Jacket by Mr. Stitch

We have definitely been on Ryan watch here at Mr. Stitch. We’ve been grateful to work with stylist Mark Avery on several custom pieces, and this black-and-gold Fall Guy jacket was another one we were excited to see out in the world.

This was the second version of a Fall Guy jacket we had seen Ryan wear, and it had a completely different feel from the first one.

The Black-and-Gold Fall Guy Jacket

I personally really like this version. The gold embroidery against the black jacket gives the lettering a lot of contrast, so the Fall Guy branding is easy to spot even from a distance.

That contrast worked especially well for where the jacket ended up being seen—on stage in front of a live audience at Universal Studios Hollywood.

A Surprise Appearance at Universal Studios Hollywood

The jacket appeared during the launch of The Fall Guy Stuntacular Pre-Show at Universal Studios Hollywood on April 27, 2024. Guests were there for the new stunt show, and Ryan Gosling made a surprise appearance alongside director David Leitch.

For us, it was another fun moment seeing embroidery connected to our Sherman Oaks shop show up just a few miles away as part of a major Hollywood promotion.

Another Fall Guy Project From Our Shop

This was not the first Fall Guy project we worked on. We also created jackets connected to the film’s earlier premiere appearances, so it was great to see another version of the look come together with Mark Avery. See the earlier The Fall Guy jacket project.

Hollywood Embroidery From Sherman Oaks

Seeing this jacket on stage at Universal Studios Hollywood was a nice full-circle LA moment for us. We appreciate Mark Avery continuing to trust Mr. Stitch with these custom pieces, and we always enjoy seeing where the finished work turns up next.
