Elevate Your Style with Custom Embroidery

Embroidery gives you a pretty simple way to take something ordinary and make it feel more like your own. A name, logo, drawing, patch, font or even the right thread color can completely change the look of a jacket, shirt, bag or another piece you already like.

At our Sherman Oaks shop, we see customers from around Los Angeles come in with all kinds of ideas. Some want something bold and easy to notice. Others only want a small detail that means something to them. Both can work.

Make the Piece Feel Like Yours

Personalizing something does not mean covering the whole garment in embroidery. Sometimes a small patch, monogram or piece of artwork is enough. The design can reflect an interest, a memory, your work, your background or simply something you enjoy looking at.

We see ideas based on heritage, nature, names, logos, original artwork and all kinds of personal symbols. There is no single style you have to follow. The point is to create something that fits the person who is actually going to wear it.

Patches Give You Another Way to Customize

A custom patch can be useful when you want the design to exist as its own piece instead of embroidering directly onto one garment. You can create a patch around a name, logo or original design and then decide where you want to use it.

At Mr. Stitch, our patches are made to order, so the shape and colors can be planned around the artwork rather than forcing every idea into the same format. See our custom embroidered patches in Los Angeles.

Give an Older Piece Another Chance

Embroidery can also be a creative way to keep using something you already own. Depending on the garment and the damaged area, a patch or embroidered design may be able to cover a small stain, hole or detail you no longer want to see.

I like this approach because the repair does not always have to disappear. Sometimes the new embroidery becomes the part of the garment you notice first.

Your Style Is Not Limited to Clothing

Personal embroidery does not have to stay in the closet either. Decorative pieces, names, artwork and other suitable designs can also become part of the things you keep around your home.

It might be a monogrammed towel, an embroidered pillow, a meaningful phrase or artwork created specifically for display. The same idea applies: start with something that has meaning to you and build the embroidery around the item.

Start With the Detail You Care About

You do not need to redesign your entire wardrobe to make your style more personal. Start with one piece you already like and think about what would make it feel more like yours—a name, patch, logo, drawing, phrase or color combination.

If you are not sure what font or thread color will work, we can look at the item and idea with you at our Sherman Oaks shop. Browse our embroidery fonts and thread colors.

Home décor is another way to fill your space with personality. Art pieces and photos can be embroidered to proudly display around your home. Elevate your space with pieces that bring you peace or show off some of your favorite photos captured forever in threads that will allow you to come into a space that is truly your own.
